$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pinentry-curses 

pinentry-curses is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pinentry-curses package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pinentry-curses *

You will get with pinentry-curses package name, version, architecture and description in a table

pinentry-curses package basic information:
